STOP THE SERENGETI HIGHWAY…. POACHING IS ON THE RISE IN AFRICA 

What will happen if a road is put through the Serengeti? Poaching is now made easier with the use of technology like cell phones to coordinate poaching raids, automatic weapons,  and ease of getting into and out of areas because of roads.  The Tanzania government is spending millions of dollars to reintroduce Black Rhinos to the very area where the road is being proposed. Does this make sense to anyone? Even the Former French President of France, Valery Giscard d’Estaing, has made an impassioned plea to authorities in Tanzania to uphold the country’s traditional commitment to the conservation of wildlife and show no mercy to poachers.
